New email message scams are coming out more and more quickly! The latest is one saying that your email couldn’t be synchronized (see picture below). If you look closely you can see that certain words are a clue to it’s unauthenticity, such as the word ‘mails’ instead of ’email’. They also use the work ‘synchronized’ when we just say ‘sync’ or ‘synced’. Also, check the highlighted email address that says it’s coming from siberia@siberia-hotel.ru. I can assure you that Rackspace is not in Russia.
Any messages about your email service will come from Abacus Web Services and NOT Rackspace.
Here is another example which shows that the email address is not from Rackspace and it has poor grammar and punctuation.
